Freight Handling Agreement

You the shipper agree to allow Transport Exempt to insure the freight transportation is managed internally by the company and its various divisions of operations giving us greater control over scheduling, routing, delivery times, and the security of the shipment.

Instead of dealing with multiple external carriers, you have one point of contact for your shipment. This streamlines communication and allows for faster problem resolution. We use Route One ELD to provide enhanced, real-time visibility into the shipment's location and status. This increases transparency and makes tracking easier.

Any issues when attempting delivery to your designated consignee may result in additional charges. We will notify you the shipper immediately if any issues arise during transport or delivery.

If any special arrangements are made in advance with us for contract work and/or COD deliveries you (shipper) are responsible for informing receiver that we only accept Credit/Debit card on delivery. Unpaid delivery will result in the freight coming back with us to be stored and additional fee of $75 will be applied for said storage.

Also note we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

The only time any information about shipments would be shared, would be with Law Enforcement upon request in case of fraud or other criminal activities.
